I'm a qualified professional looking to settle down with the right person.

I enjoy spending my spare time trying new places to eat, walking in areas of natural beauty and catching up with family and friends.

I would say that I am moderately practising and I would like to meet someone who at least tries to pray and knows the difference between religion and culture.

What I Am Looking For
In terms of attributes, ideally someone who is god fearing, a British Pakistani, down to earth, humble, not previously married, family orientated and a kind hearted soul - hopefully that’s not too much to ask.

Also someone who is mentally ready to settle down and commit to marriage in a couple of months time if we are compatible and someone who does not drink alcohol in any form, goes clubbing, gambles or smokes.

Note - I would consider living abroad and ideally in a Muslim country if the opportunity arises but at present I have no plans to leave the UK.

I would also consider living with in-laws if that is the only deal breaker but my preference is to live separately to avoid conflicts. This does not mean that I don’t care about your parents or siblings - I will inshallah treat them as my own.

PS if you resonate with any of the following, I think we are more than likely to be compatible:

* read surah yaseen regularly
* listen to or read surah mulk before you go to sleep
* try and actively plan things around namaz times rather than make up prayers afterwards
* have made the intention to do hajj next year
* would like to fast an entire Ramadan in Makkah/medina in the near future
